November Rain!
That is one of my favorite songs by my favorite rock group, “Guns N Roses”. Few developments that took place recently gave me another angle to look at this song.
Since November 1st, Pune and many parts of
Many places witnessed hailstorms. Farmers were the most affected lot! Once again, they got hit by sudden changes in weather and a large quantity of crops got reduces to nothing. Let’s pray to god for these poor farmers’ wellbeing.
I know it's hard to keep an open heart
When even friends seem out to harm you
But if you could heal a broken heart
Wouldn't time be out to charm you
Life is strange. When you least expect, you get hit hard and then it no longer remain the same!
And it’s hard to hold a candle
In cold November rain.
Still, like bhai always say, “Hope is the last thing that dies”, one has to carryon, learning from such experiences.
One of my professors, prof. Gandhi, once told me one statement that he read somewhere, “Just as happiness do not last long, so do sorrows”.
That makes me believe that, things always happen for good with brief commercial breaks of bad times. That’s god’s way of marketing happiness!
Nothing lasts forever
Even cold November rain!
Lets’ hope all the events, even if they are making future look bleak, will ultimately translate into something good! Aamin!!!

How true !! and neatly put.
Good Shree u are back :) Like to read your blogs filled with philosophy and emotions. All those inbetween quotes are very nice and meaningful !! Are they yours ? If they are.. I am proud of you :)
First of all... yes climate changing everywhere - global warming. Summer is too hot, winter is too cold and rain is resulting in floods and damage. Don't know if our future generation can enjoy what we do (I know our parents had better chance than us).
Good to have a perspective towards life like u said: "things always happen for good with brief commercial breaks of bad times. That’s god’s way of marketing happiness!" . But again easy to be said than done.
Well Life .. You just have to LIVE it :)
They are not my quotes. They are snippets of the "November Rain" song lyrics. And I tried to put them in a new perspective.
And totally agreed, the philosophy written here is not eazy to follow. But then, thats life!
