They were my dream team last season. I had written ‘will miss you’ article about them when they played their last season’s last match. And this season, they are back with a BANG!!!

Yeeh, they are my favorite ‘Deccan Chargers’. After yesterday’s match, they have won 4 out of 4 matches.

I wish them good luck and hope they will take Michelle in next match.

Food Quote

In last few days, I have heard the quote “Otherwise I will be in soup” so many times that now I am scared even to think of having soup . I mean I don’t know whom I will find in there!!

The 3 Musketeers

Both the matches played today produced interesting results. Last year’s champions were bowled out to the lowest score yet in IPL schedule. And in the first match, Mumbai Indians didn’t allow last year’s runners up, Chennai Superkings, to win their season opener.

In first match, Mumbai Indians managed a moderate score and also defended it. Sachin Tendulkar became the first one to score a half century in season 2 of IPL.

And in the second match, Royal Challengers Banglore, like last year, had a real bad start. But Rahuld Dravid once again proved that he can score runs when everyone else has put their anchor. And when RCs came to defend the small score, all the bowlers contributed. Especially Anil Kumble who took 5 wickets for 5 runs in 3.1 overs. Boy, just 5 months back he declared his retirement from National Cricket. Can’t believe that :-)

In all, the 3 Musketeers, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble, made the first day memorable. Hope the show keeps on bringing such good news in coming 37 days.

And in sometime, the official opening ceremony will start. Hope it will be spectacular too!

IPL, SA and Dogs

After lots of hoo-hallah, IPL season-2 has started in SA. The first match is between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. I am still not able to get the same feel as the last year’s IPL, one reason being the lacking support from crowd to either side.

But as they say, “Every Dog Has His Day”, one dog managed to get all the attention after he entered the playing field. Everyone tried their bit to get him out of the field. And it took around 5-10 minutes before he himself decided to move out.

Everyone enjoyed this small break, including Set-Max as they got some more money for untimely advertisements ;)

Lets’ hope this season of IPL will be good, with fewer dogs barking and more game of cricket :-)
