Will miss you!

That was my Dream Team. I felt bad to see them loose their last game as well. As Gilli pointed correctly, they managed to take almost 7 games till the last over, but failed to convert them to a win. And that is where they went wrong.

Yesterday Sachin mentioned that, if his team/bowlers would have used some commonsense, they could have won their game against Rajasthan. And Deccans face a similar problem throughout the tournament.

It was evident from his face that he really felt bad. And in those last few lines with Ramiz Raja, he was prompt to give his regards to the Hydrabad crowd, his teammates and the wonderful cheerleaders. Well said Gilli that was a real good team with really great cheerleaders.

I will miss that team and their wonderful cheerleaders ;-)

So near yet …

[I wanted to post this yesterday, but due to bad health, could not do that. But after watching Mumbai’s match decided to post this article with few more lines ;-)]

[Yesterday]

With the league matches coming to an end, the excitement about the final four is still alive. The top two teams are fixed. But there are three teams contesting for last two spots. Out of them, Delhi has already finished their matches. And their fate depends on the way Chennai and Mumbai perform in their remaining league matches.

Mummbai and Chennai can not blame anyone for their current situation. But, Delhi can blame weather. It hurts when you know you have given your best and still the final outcome depends on someone else’s actions.

Something similar happened in the F1 today. Till 10 minutes to finish, Sutil was holding his 4th position. He had already started feeling the pressure as his car was between the two Ferraris. He could see Masa’s Ferrari moving ahead of him and in the rear view mirror, there was Raikonan.

And on one critical turn, Raikonan decided to overtake Sutil, but ended up crashing on Sutil’s car. And that was the end of Sutil’s dream finish. That ended Mallya’s Force India’s dream as well. In the pit lane, Sutil was in tears with his broken car.

He was so near yet …

[/Yesterday]

[This was what I had planned to post yesterday. Now will add some more for today’s IPL match.]

Just like Sutil, Sachin must have felt bad when Mumbai Indians lost to Rajasthan Royals on the last ball. This was the second time they lost a game on the last ball. So near yet …

That puts Delhi in the three semi-finalists and Mumbai’s luck now depends on Chennai’s next match. If Chennai can not win that match, then Mumbai have a chance to enter finals provided they win their last remaining league match.

PS: BTW, this situation makes me think about one thing, is there any problem with that name? We have seen similar situations with out national team in many international tournaments and yesterday’s Force India’s loss.

PPS: May be, Mr Ambani can consult some astrologer and change his team’s name from “Mumbai Indians” to “Mumbaiii Bharata” or “Mumbaai Indiians” or “Bombay Bharat” or … ;-)

Royally Charred Challenged Deccan!

Woops!
What was that?
Oouch!
That was because of you!
Shucks!
What the hell was that?
Wooooo!
Always with you!
Why with you alone?
That was electric!
That’s you not me!

Those were few of the exclamations, followed by some interesting advice!

Change your shoes!
It’s the carpet!
Your clothes may be!
You searched on net?
Check if that’s related to medical complications?
Why don’t you tie up with MSEB!
Donate some, we will have less power cuts!

Ohhh come on!
That is simple static.
And it’s perfectly Ok!
Everyone is not blessed with this ability.
I am one of the few fortunate.

This is the usual conversation when guys get shocked (literally) by me. I happen to collect these static charges or as they sometimes say, I get charged up (static charge I mean ;-)), more often than usual.

Does this relate to the title?

May be yes! If you have followed the two encounters of Deccan Chargers, with Knight Riders and Royal Challengers, you would have noticed their performance was not at all charged up! In fact, it was poor to a level that even the lights failed to get charged ;-)

And today, finally Royally Challenged, I mean Royal Challengers managed to CHAR the Deccan Chargers.

The next show: "Kaabhi Alvida Naa Kahena" between Kings and Knights or is it "Kaal Hoo Naa Hoo!"

Who cares, just N’joy!!!
